The Draft Party is one of the most exciting parts of Celebrity Fantasy League. A great time for some female bonding (or co-ed bonding if men are playing). Here are a few of our favorite ideas for the big night:

For those of you who wish you were a celebrity, make it a costume party:

Invite all of the agents to your place with instructions to dress up like their #1 draft pick. If you REALLY want to manage Jennifer Lopez this season, throw on that lounging track suit. If you're after Katie Holmes, don the big sunglasses and stuff that pillow in your belly. If no one else dresses up like your chosen celebrity, you get the celebrity as your first pick and can manage them during the 10-week session. If there are multiple Nicole Kidman impersonators in the group, the other agents can vote for best dressed to see who will receive Nicole Kidman as their #1 draft pick.

For those of you who wish you could party like a celebrity, throw a red carpet gala:

Invite all of the agents to your place and roll out the red carpet...literally. Ask your guests to dress up in their favorite (or least favorite) bridesmaid dress or prom dress. Decorate your home or apartment with red carpet or paper. Ask the men in your life to act as paparazzi and snap photos of your guests as they arrive. Heck, if you're a guest, rent a limo with the other guests so that you can really arrive in style (and get home safely after a few cosmopolitans). As for the beverages, nothing beats a martini bar (for those over the age of 21 of course) or non-alcoholic beverages served in the fanciest of glasses. Hold a "best dressed" contest to determine the order of the draft.

For those of you who worship celebrities from the sidelines, a low-key get-together:

Invite all of the agents to your place for the draft and inevitably a night of celebrity-gossip. The draft party can be an easy to plan get-together for the hostess. Ask each agent to bring an appetizer, their drink of choice and all of their latest celebrity magazines---to peruse in between draft picks. If you want to head out instead, go to your favorite coffee shop, watering hole or restaurant for the draft. We'll appreciate all your referrals when everyone asks why you're having so much fun!
